Born in Grand Rapids, MI. Went to college at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. Been in Chicago since '96 working at Aware. 1 wife. 2 kids. 1 dog.

What do you do at Aware?
Aware Records - I do several things, including artist marketing, overseeing the Rep Program and knowing where to get the cheapest paper clips. A-Squared Management - I work with Brandi Carlile and Anya Marina as part of their management team.

If you weren't working at Aware, what would you be doing?
Hopefully playing golf every day and/or the General Manager of a basketball franchise. Joey D you hear me knocking?

Who is your favorite office pet?
Maddy. She doesn't come in very often but since she does occasionally she qualifies.

Where is your favorite place to eat?
Homemade Pizza Company, although I don't really eat there, I think that qualifies as an answer

What is your favorite movie?
There are a few at the top of the list -- Caddyshack, Goodfellas, Get Shorty, Spinal Tap.

Who is your favorite band to see live?
Muse and Pearl Jam. Favorite 2 bands on all levels.

What would you do if computers did not exist?
I would talk on the phone a lot more...please don't take away computers.

What is your favorite TV show?
Seinfeld, Arrested Development, and 30 Rock.

Best "Rock" Moment?
I've had so many it's hard to narrow down. Whether it's John Mayer winning a Grammy, watching Mat Kearney sell out a show or listening to the things fans say to Brandi Carlile while she signs autographs, they are all really important and great. Seeing and feeling our bands reaching people is, as cheesy as it sounds, what it's all about for me.

What has been your biggest accomplishment so far?
High school tennis state championship! Come on!
